MindfulNess Based Pregnancy, Birth & Postpartum Support
COULD YOU USE MORE SUPPORT AS YOU NAVIGATE THE TRANSITION TO YOUR NEW (OR NEW STAGE OF) PARENTHOOD?
FAMILY AND RELATIONSHIP Coaching & POSTPARTUM Counseling Sessions FOR NEW PARENTS
CIPC offers private family & relationship-based coaching and counseling sessions for both individuals and couples as they navigate pregnancy, birth, and all stages of parenthood. These sessions are aimed at providing the support, nourishment, techniques and communication tools that will help you and your partner to connect more deeply and meet and align as you face the various challenges of parenthood. Areas addressed may include but are not limited to postpartum adjustment, managing life with a new baby, staying intimately connected in parenthood, integrating a sibling to the family, and the overall day to day demands of parenthood.
MINDFULNESS-BASED Support Groups
We also offer intimate Mindfulness-based Support Groups for both pregnant and postpartum moms. You are invited to join one of these circles of pregnant or postpartum mothers in a safe, supportive & inspiring six-week mindfulness-based group.
These powerful groups allow moms to connect with other mothers and mothers-to-be. Led by a trained and experienced facilitator, you'll get the opportunity to be supported, empowered & nourished during this profound time of transformation, while also learning how to incorporate practical mindfulness into your every day reality of motherhood. No prior mindfulness experience necessary.
Topics typically explored include:
- Ways to support your wellness after birth
- Navigating the changes in your relationship and family
- Healing from your birth and delivery experience
- Balancing mothering your child(ren) while still caring for yourself
- Reducing stress, increasing self-confidence and strengthening your connection to your baby through mindfulness
- Dealing with overwhelming emotions
- Nourishing and honoring yourself on your motherhood journey
The Postpartum group is for all postpartum mothers of babies 0-12 months (pre-crawling babies are welcome.) First-time, second-time (and beyond) mothers welcome.
